Cabinet approves memorandum of cooperation between India and Japan in the field of Environmental Cooperation
The Union Cabinet has given in-principle approval to the Memorandum of Understanding between India and Japan.
This cooperation memorandum was signed during the Indian Prime Minister's visit to Japan on October 29, 2018.
The Memorandum of Understanding should be established and encouraged by establishing close and long-term cooperation between India and Japan in the field of natural resources management and environmental protection on the basis of equality, reciprocity and mutual benefit keeping in view the appropriate laws and legal provisions of each country.
