IGNOU’s FCRA licence cancelled

The Union home ministry has cancelled the FCRA licence of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) for failing to file annual returns from 2010-11 to 2014-15 despite several reminders. 

The Union home ministry scrapped FCRA registration of the 4,842 NGOs and organisations on August 8, reports The Times of India. 

However, IGNOU has released the BEd Entrance Test 2018 Hall ticket. 

Simple steps to download admit card as follows: 

Step 1:
Visit ignou.ac.in

Step 2: Click on Hall Tickets for BEd and BSCN Entrance Examination 2018 option 

Step 3:  Enter your 9-digit Enrollment Number 

Step 4: The Hall Ticket will pop up on the computer screen.

What is FCRA?
The fullform of FCRA is Foreign Contribution Regulation Act. It regulates the foreign contribution (money donation) and foreign hospitality (e.g. free airplane tickets and hotel lodging during videsh-yaatra) given to various NGOs, institutes, judges, journalists, public servants etc.
