The last date of admission has been extended by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) for July 2017 session.
The admission is for various programmes such as Masters, Bachelor’s , diploma, and Postgraduate Diploma programmes, including the semester based programmes have been extended up to August 18, 2017.
“Due to heavy traffic on the online admission server, the system response is slow. As a result, many applicants willing to apply for admission are unable to apply,” said V P Rupam, Head, E-Support, IGNOU.

Admissions to the certificate programmes of the university offered through the common prospectus have now ended for the July 2017 session on July 31, 2017.
IGNOU also offers BCom (A&F) and MCom (F&T), BCom (CA and A) and MCom (BP and CG), BCom (F and CA) and MCom (MA and FS) in collaboration with the Institute of Chartered Accounts of India, Institute of Company Secretaries of India and Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
The last date for these programmes is also August 18, 2017 and the procedure for their admission is offline.
