DU’s PGDAV College to get air quality monitoring station

The Pannalal Girdharlal Dayanand Anglo Vedic (PGDAV) College (Evening) has emerged as the first college of Delhi University (DU) to have a fully automatic Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Station. 

"The college will be the first educational establishment of not only Delhi University but also of the city to have such a monitoring station," said the press release.

College principal R K Gupta infomred media that the college had approached the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) with a request to set up a station. He reiterated that the construction work had started. The cost of setting up the station is Rs 2 crore approximately.
