With institutions failing to comply with mandatory disclosure order, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued showcause notice to schools for not sharing information on fees.
While the schools were asked to upload their admission details, fee structure and balance sheet on board's website by October last year, a fine will be imposed for not abiding the order.
"The fees should be commensurate with the facilities provided by the school and violations will be dealt with seriously," said a board official.
