Amid paper leak rumours, an invigilator was caught on camera helping students cheat in Haryana Board Class X examination.
The video, recorded by Hindustan Times on Tuesday, depicted that the teacher who was supervising the Science exam at Government Girls Senior Secondary School in Jhajjar, reading out the answers to students.
Following the incident, Jhajjar district education officer (DEO) Satbir Siwach informed media that an inquiry has started and strict action will be taken against the teacher.
"We will get the inquiry reports soon after which we will see what needs to be done," said Siwach.
The report comes a month after Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) expelled 204 Class XII students for using unfair means in the intermediate examination.
