Border Security Force (BSF) has issued application from male/female Indian citizens for appointments on combatised posts of Assistant Sub Inspector(Stenographer), Head Constable (Ministerial) and Constable(Daftry).
The eligible candidates who wish to apply must go between the notification before applying for the same.
Name of the Posts:
Head Constable (Ministerial) – 159
Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer) – 25
Constable (Draftry) – 12
Educational Qualification:
(A). For ASI(Steno) & HC(Min)
Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognised Board or University or equivalent.
(B). For Constable(Daftry):
Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised Board or Institution.
Age Limit :
Between 18 to 25 years. Upper age limit is relaxable by five years for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes, three years for the Other Backward Classes and five years for Govt Servants. Also relaxable for other special categories of persons in accordance with the orders issued by the Central Government from time to time.
Application Fee:
Each application should be accompanied by a crossed Bank Draft/Postal Order for Rs.50/-(fifty) as examination fee in favour of authority to whom the application is addressed, payable at respective SBI/Post office at the location. However, the SC/ST and Departmental (BSF) candidates are not required to submit examination fee. Women candidates are exempted from payment of examination fees.
