Artificial Intelligence, Yoga To Be Part Of CBSE Syllabus

Ensuring mental and physical growth of students simultaneously, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Early Childhood Care Education (ECCE), and Yoga as skill subjects in the school curriculum.  

According to a circular issued by CBSE, the AI is to be introduced as an optional sixth subject for Class IX. The ECCE and Yoga are to be introduced as elective subjects at senior secondary level.
 

“Yoga will teach a way of living that aims towards a healthy mind in a healthy body whereas Early Childhood Education will prepare the students to teach children of nursery and kindergarten classes happy education or other systems of child-centric education,” pointed out the circular.

However, Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board is likely to announce UP Board Result 2019 before April 20.
 
The evaluation process of UP Board answer sheets commenced on March 8. UP Board secretary Neena Srivastava ensured completion of the evaluation of all answer sheets of both High School and Intermediate examinations latest by March 25.
