Youths of 12 Bihar districts will get a chance to become a soldier as the Indian Army is organising a special recruitment rally at Katihar from May 28 to June 6.
The aspirants could produce documents pertaining to education, domicile and character during the recruitment rally to compete for the posts of soldiers in general duty, tradesman, technical, clerk and nursing assistant categories.

"Youths from Banka, Khagaria, Supaul, Araria, Saharsa, Begusarai, Munger, Madhepura, Bhagalpur, Purnia, Kishanganj and Kathihar districts will be given a chance to join the Indian Army at this rally,” said Colonel GS Radkar, Director (Recruiting) of the Army Recruiting Office at Katihar.
The final day, June 6, has been reserved for NCC A, B and C certificate holders from all these districts,” he said.
Radkar cautioned the youth not to take recourse to forged documents or get in the trap of touts who cheat poor and innocent youth in the name of providing jobs in the army.
