A protest by a group of teachers from All India Parents Assosiation (AIPA) took place out side the Delhi Assembly on 23rd of November. The teachers were protesting against the proposal to amend section 10(1) of DSE Act 1973 that guranteed pay parity between government and private school staff.
The Parents assosiation also protested against the Delhi School (Verification of Accounts and Refund of Excess Fee) Bill 2015. According to them it did nothing to control arbitrary fee hike.They also got support of the AAP MLA Pankaj Puskar in their protest for the amendment in the Delhi School Education (Amendment) Bill, 2015, tabled in the present session of Delhi Vidhan Sabha.
The AIPA president Ashok Agarwal blamed, that the government is adopting double standard, one for private schools and other for government ones. Pushkar on the other hand termed the bill as 'eyewash' and expressed that it is being introduced in accordance of the private schools.
