Nishita Purohit, hailing from Gujarat, has emerged as the all India topper in the AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam 2017, results of which were relesaed at around 2:15 am today. She scored 91.4% marks in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 board this year.
While the All India Institute of Medical Sciences on Thursday morning declared the results of the entrance exam for its MBBS course at AIIMS, New Delhi, Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneswar, Rishikesh and Raipur, the 18-year-old topper credited her success to the coaching institute, her parents and family.
"I was not sure about the topper’s rank in AIIMS but was certain about being selected for AIIMS," Nishita told Hindustan Times.
However, candidates can check their results on the website www.aiimsexams.org and also on the websites of other six AIIMS.
