Karnataka Minister busts mass copying in MBA exam
An organised mass copying was today busted when Karnataka Higher Education Minister C T Ravi supervened upon MBA students indulging in malpractice allegedly with the aid of a college management in the city.

Shocked at seeing students copying with the help of textbooks, smartphones and laptops, Ravi declared the examination paper as null and void.

“Some students used smartphones, laptops and tabs to search for answers online,” Ravi said, adding that he found some students copying from the textbooks and other study material.

The students were writing the examination being conducted by Karnataka Open State University (KOSU) at the Gangamma Hombegowda College when Ravi and other education officials paid a surprise visit.

The Minister said he was surprised to see all 100 students indulging in mass copying and blamed the college management for allowing it.

The government has ordered an enquiry and asked KOSU officials to file criminal cases against the college management and the students, Ravi said.
