Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Wednesday launched “Mukhya Mantri Shiksha Deeksha Yojna” in government schools, a programme inspired by the concept of activity-based learning.
Launching the scheme in Gurgaon, Hooda also started a Facebook page on which the teachers can share their best teaching practices and techniques.
The Chief Minister released a module of Class Readiness Programme through which the parents of the students studying in government schools will come to know about the activities to be carried out throughout the academic year, an official release here said.
He honoured 730 school heads and teachers from all over the state on the occasion.
The Non-Government Organisations which are helping in quality improvement programme in the education sector were also honoured by the Chief Minister, the release said.
