Bengal trying to improve enrollment in higher education
The West Bengal government is trying to improve enrollment in higher education which is below the national average in the state.

National average of higher education enrollment is 18 per cent, while it is 13 per cent in West Bengal, state Higher Education minister told an interactive session at the Bengal Chamber here.

Marjit said the Centre is targeting to increase the enrollment in higher secondary to 30 per cent and the state is also taking steps toward it.He said the government is speaking with private universities on collaboration in achieving the goal.
