West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPCS) has released the answer key for Judicial Services Preliminary Examination on its official website. The candidates must note that the WBPCS 2021 Answer Key has been released for the post of Civil Judge, Junior Division. The candidates can check the answer key by visiting the WBPSC official website- wbpsc.gov.in.

 

Candidates must also note that the result of the preliminary examination will be released after the release of the final answer key by the commission. The recruitment drive has started to fill in the vacancies on 14 posts. If candidates have any objections against the answer key, they can raise objections till September 26, 2021. As per the official notice released by the commission, no objection from the candidates will be received after September 26.

How to Check WBPSC 2021 Answer Key:

 

The candidates are required to follow the step-by-step instructions mentioned below to check and download the answer key for WBPSC 2021 Prelims Exam. 

 
  1. Visit the official website-wbpsc.gov.in.

  2. On the What's New section, click on the notification named "Answer Key of West Bengal Judicial Service (Preliminary) Examination, 2021 Advertisement No. 08/2021".

  3. A new PDF will open.

  4. Candidates can check the answer key by scrolling down through the PDF.

  5. Candidates should keep a copy of the PDF with them for future use.


This is the selection process

 

The selection process includes a preliminary examination. The preliminary exam is conducted for 2.5 hours and consists of 200 questions. Candidates must note that the exam is conducted for screening purposes only. After this the main examination takes place. There will be 3 optional papers and 8 compulsory papers in the exam. The compulsory paper will have subjects like English Composition and Essay Writing, Indian Evidence Act, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs, etc. Candidates are advised to check the detailed syllabus before appearing for the exam. Finally, candidates have to appear for a personality test which will be of 100 marks. Candidates must note that the marks obtained in the preliminary examination will not be counted in the final merit list.
