IISER IAT 2024: The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research has released the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2024 final answer key today, 21 June.
Candidates who appeared for the entrance exam can download the PDF of the official answer key from the institute's official website at iiseradmission.
According to the official schedule, the result of IISER IAT 2024 will be announced on 25 June. Registration for the counseling process will commence from June 25 onwards.
Candiadtes must note that the IISER IAT exam was conducted on 9 June from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in a single session.
The exam is held for admission to the dual degree programs: the four-year Bachelor of Science (BS) and the five-year Bachelor of Science-Master of Science (BS-MS) programs at IISERs.
Based on the candidates' performance in the IISER entrance exam, candidates will be allotted admission to any of the IISER campuses located in Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, or Tirupati.
IISER IAT 2024: Exam pattern
- The IIT exam consists of 60 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
- There are 15 questions each from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.
- The duration of the exam is 180 minutes.
- The total score for the exam is 240 marks.
IISER IAT 2024: Scoring scheme
- According to the marking scheme, candidates will be awarded four marks for each correct answer.
- There is a penalty of one mark for each incorrect answer.
- Unattempted questions do not affect the scoring.
