CTET July Answer key 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to close the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2024 answer key challenge window today, 27 July before 12 PM. The CTET objection facility, along with the provisional answer key and scanned images of OMR answer sheets, was made available on the official website at ctet.nic.in.


To challenge the CTET answer key 2024, candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000 per question via credit or debit card. According to the board, "Candidates can challenge the answer keys through the link available on the website https://ctet.nic.in/ from 24/07/2024 to 27/07/2024 (until 11:59 PM)."


The board stated, "If the challenge is accepted, meaning that subject experts identify any errors in the answer key, a policy decision will be made, and the fee will be refunded."


CTET Result 2024: Marking scheme
 
  • The CTET exam consists of two papers:
Paper 1: For candidates aiming to teach Classes 1 to 5.
Paper 2: For candidates eligible to teach Classes 6 to 8.
Paper 1 Structure:
  • Consists of five sections:
Child Development and Pedagogy
Language 1
Language 2
Mathematics
Environmental Studies
Each section has 30 questions.
Each question carries 1 mark.
Total: 150 questions for 150 marks.
  • Paper 2 Structure:
Last two sections vary based on the subjects the candidate is applying for:
Mathematics and Science: For candidates applying to teach these subjects.
Social Studies: For candidates applying to teach other subjects.
Both sections contain 60 questions each.
Each question carries 1 mark.
Total: 150 questions for 150 marks.



CTET Result 2024: Passing criteria
  • Candidates must score 60% or higher to pass the CTET exam.
  • The board mentioned that school managements (government, local bodies, government-aided, and unaided) may provide concessions to: SC (Scheduled Castes), ST (Scheduled Tribes), OBC (Other Backward Classes), Differently-abled persons
  • These concessions should align with the existing reservation policies of the respective institutions.


CTET Result 2024: Final Answer key
  • The final CTET answer key and results will be released after subject experts review the submitted challenges.
  • The board will upload the CTET mark sheets of all eligible candidates in digital format to their DigiLocker accounts.
  • The CTET eligibility certificate will be legally valid according to the IT Act.
