AP LAWCET 2024: The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will going to close the AP LAWCET answer key objection window today, 12 June. 

 

Candidates who participated in the AP LAWCET and AP PGLCET entrance exams this year can challenge the answer key by visting the official website at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in

 

Additionally, note that the objections can be raised through the official website by uploading supporting documents aligned with the question. 

 

Candidates must note that the AP LAWCET 2024 result is also expected to be announced anytime soon. 

 

AP LAWCET 2024: Counselling 

  • Exam Date: The AP LAWCET exam was conducted on June 9, 2024.
  • Courses: The exam is for admission into:
      • Regular 3-year LLB courses
      • 5-year LLB courses
      • 2-year LLM courses
  • Academic Year: The admissions are for the academic year 2024-2025.
  • Results and Score Card: The council will issue the AP LAWCET score card 2024 along with the results.
  • Counselling Process:
    • After the LAWCET results are announced, officials will begin the counselling process.
    • Seat allocation will be done in the order of merit.

 

AP LAWCET and AP PGLCET: Qualifying criteria

  • General Category Candidates:
    • Must obtain 35% of the total marks.
    • This equates to 42 marks out of 120.
  • AP PGLCET Candidates:
    • Must obtain 25% of the total marks.
    • This equates to 30 marks out of 120.
  • SC, ST, and Other Reserved Category Candidates: No minimum qualifying marks required for eligibility.

 

AP LAWCET 2024: Ranking system 

  • Rank Allocation: Candidates will be ranked based on marks obtained in the state-level entrance exam.
  • Tie-Breaking Criteria:
    • Part C Marks:
      • Marks secured in Part C of AP LAWCET will be considered first.
    • Part B Marks:
      • If the tie persists, marks obtained in Part B of AP LAWCET will be taken into consideration.
    • Age Seniority:
      • Seniority in age may be considered at the time of admission.
  • Rank Validity: The AP LAWCET rank 2024 is valid for admission into 3-year and 5-year law courses for the academic year 2024-2025 only.
