The admit card for the UPSC Engineering Service Pre Exam 2019 has been released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
The admit card is now available on the official website i.e. upsc.gov.in.
The candidates who have to appear for the Engineering Service prelims exam can visit the official website and download the admit card.
The preliminary examination has been scheduled to be conducted on January 05, 2020.
The UPSC Engineering Service preliminary examination will be held in the pen and paper mode. The written examination will consist of objective type questions (MCQs).

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in
Step 2: Go to the 'What's New' section
Step 3: Click on the link that says “e - Admit Card: Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2020”
Step 3: Follow the links provided for the admit cards and read the instructions carefully
Step 4: Candidates can log in using their registration ID or roll number
Step 5: Download your admit cards and take a print out for further reference.

The candidates need to enter the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time. Also, for all exams of UPSC, any gadget or electronic item is not allowed inside the exam centre. The candidate should read the instructions carefully.
There will be penalty (negative marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the objective type question papers.
Note:
(i) There are four alternatives for the answer to every question. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
(ii) If a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer even if one of the given answers happens to be correct and there will be the same penalty as above for that question.
(iii) If a question is left blank i.e. no answer is given by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
