An official notification reads, "Based on the performance of candidates in the 2nd stage Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted from 28-08-2019 to 01-09-2019 & on 19.09.2019 for the Junior Engineer(JE), Junior Engineer (Information and Technology), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) notified against Centralized Employment Notification (CEN 03/2018), candidates bearing the Roll Numbers listed (in ascending order and not in merit) herein under have been provisionally shortlisted for the Document Verification (DV)& Medical Examination."

RRB JE Exam 2019 will fill up 13,487 posts of Junior Engineers in Indian Railways. The examination will fill up posts of Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (Information Technology) [JE(IT)], Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) in Indian Railways across the nation. The written examination was conducted by the Board on September 19, 2019. The duration of examination was 120 minutes and the number of questions asked was 150. As per the official confirmation, a total of 1,88,616 candidates have appeared for the examination.
