National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, NBEMS is all to release the admit card of NEET PG 2021 exam today, September 06. The candidates would be required to download the fresh admit card issued by the board from the official website at nbe.edu.in. No candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall with the admit card issued by the NBE in April 2021.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for the postgraduate programme is scheduled to be held on September 11, 2021. Previously the exam was scheduled to be conducted by the board on April 18, 2021. A total of 1,75,063 candidates have been registered for NEET-PG 2021. According to an official notification released earlier, the NBEMS has increased the number of test cities and centres for NEET-PG 2021 in view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. 

This year, the NEET-PG 2021 shall be held in more than 260 cities at around 800 test centres across the country. The candidates are advised to strictly adhere to the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the NBE in a notice dated 09.04.2021. Candidates shall be provided with a protective face shield, face mask and sanitiser sachets individually at test centres.

NEET PG 2021 Exam Day Guidelines 

COVID-19 Travel Pass:
To make it easier for students to travel around on exam day, the NBE will issue each candidate a COVID e-pass, which will be given to them along with their hall ticket. Candidates would be required to carry a hard copy of both the documents with a valid Id proof on the exam day.

Thermal Scanning: Candidates who have to appear for the NEET 2021 PG exam will have to go through the thermal scanning process before entering the exam centre. The candidates with a temperature above average or COVID symptoms will be allowed to take the exam in an isolation lab.

COVID Safety Guard: While entering the NEET PG exam centre, each applicant will be given a COVID-19 protective gear safety kit. The kit will consist of a face mask, a face protector, and five sanitiser sachets that will be included in the safety package.

The NBE will conduct the entrance examination as Social Distanced - Computer Based Test (SD-CBT). The examination will be conducted in a safe and secure environment maintaining social distancing norms wherever needed.
