IISc JAM 2021 - PC : My Result Plus
The Indian Institute of Science, IISc Bangalore is to commence the JAM 2021 registration from tomorrow, September 10, 2020. The detailed schedule for the application process is available on the official website of the JAM at jam.iisc.ac.in. Candidates who wish to appear for the to the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc programmes conduct by the IISc can apply for the entrance exam.

Aspiring candidates should go through the detailed information brochure, important dates, eligibility criteria and other details before filling the online application. According to the official website, the application process will commence from September 10 to October 15, 2020. 

The JAM 2021 entrance examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 14, 2021, and the results will be announced on March 20, 2021.

JAM 2021: Application Fees
  • For general category candidates, the registration fee for one paper is Rs 1500 and Rs 2100 for two papers.
  • For Female/ŚC/ST/PwD candidates, the registration fee for one paper is Rs 750 and Rs 1050 for two test papers.
JAM 2021: Changes brought

From this year, Economics has been added as a new test subject for JAM 2021. Last year the JAM 2020 discontinued the biological science paper. The examination will be conducted for seven subjects; Economics, Biotechnology, Mathematical Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Geology and Mathematics. The online examination will be held on computer-based mode i.e. CBT.

IIT JAM 2021 schedule: Other Important Information

IIT JAM score is also used for admission to other centrally-funded technical institutions including NITs, IIEST Shibpur, SLIET Punjab and IISERs.
Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) is being conducted from 2004 to provide admissions to M.Sc. (Four Semesters), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree, etc. Programs at the IITs and Integrated PhD Degree Programmes.
