The Indian Institute of Management, IIM Indore is to release the CAT 2020 Admit Card on Wednesday, October 28, 2020. The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2020 will be held in the online mode on November 29, 2020. The admit card for the same will be available on the official website of the IIM CAT at iimcat.ac.in.
Candidates who have registered for the entrance exam can download the admit card by login through required credentials. This year, the IIM Indore has revised the exam pattern for the CAT 2020 examination. The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2020 is scheduled to be held on November 29, 2020.
IIM CAT 2020 - Exam Pattern
As per the latest exam pattern, the exam duration for CAT 2020 has been reduced to 120 minutes. Last year the exam duration was 180 minutes. The three sections will remain the same viz. Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC); Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Ability (QA).
The authorities have allotted 40 minutes to each section which was previously 60 minutes. The paper will carry both MCQs and Non-MCQ type questions. The MCQs will have negative marking for the wrong answer while Non-MCQs do not carry any penalty of negative marking.
The online registration for the IIM CAT 2020 was commenced from August 05 and concluded on September 23, 2020. The Common Admission Test 2020, or CAT 2020, is scheduled to be held on November 29 in two sessions. The admission test will be conducted in test centres spread across around 156 test cities.
