The C-DAC's Common Admission Test will be a computer based test (CBT) which is slated to be conducted physically at various C-DAC centres across the country on January 22 and 23, 2022. C-CAT is an annual examination which is conducted twice a year. It is conducted in December/January (for February/March admissions) and then in June/August (for August/September admissions).
It must be noted that candidates who qualify the January 2022 C-CAT exam will only be given admission to C-DAC's Post graduate diploma courses for March 2022 batch on the basis of their C-CAT ranks and course/centre.

C-DAC Admit Card 2022: Steps to download
- Log on to the official website of C-DAC at cdac.in.
- On the homepage, click on the link that reads “C-CAT Admit Card 2022 Download Now”.
- Enter the asked login credentials
- The Admit Card will be displayed on the screen. Download the Admit Card and obtain its hard copy for future references.
The C-CAT paper is divided into three sections, A, B and C of one hour duration each. Depending on the category of the course that a candidate selects, he/she will either have to take just one test paper (Section A) or two test papers (Section A and B) or will have to attempt all the three sections (A, B and C). Medium of instruction for the C-CAT paper is English.
There are 50 objective type questions in every section of C-CAT paper. Every question will have four responses, of which only one will be the correct one. +3 marks will be awarded for every correct answer, while -1 shall be awarded for every wrong answer. Candidate will not be awarded any marks for the unattempted questions. Maximum marks for the paper are 150.
