UP NEET PG Counselling 2024: The Director General Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh is going to close the registration window for state National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 counselling 2024 today. Candidates who have not applied yet can visit the official website i.e. upneet.gov.in. to application. 

The candidates may note that the registration window will close at 11 a.m., so apply by the deadline. The UP NEET PG counselling 2024 is being conducted for admission into MD, MS, PG Diploma, and DNB courses. The last date to register for UP NEET PG counselling was 28 September 2024.

To register for the same, candidates need to pay application fees of Rs 3,000 which is non-refundable. The UP NEET PG 2024 seat allotment schedule will be announced soon and will be made available on the official website. After successful registration and choice filling, the seat allotment results for Phase 1 will be published. 

Candidates must report to their allotted institutions within the specified timeline, failing which their seats may be forfeited. The counselling process includes several rounds, followed by a stray vacancy round. After the registration process for the first round is completed, DMET will prepare merit lists for shortlisted candidates who will be eligible to fill out online choices.

The UP NEET PG seat allotment result will be prepared based on various factors such as candidate's NEET PG scores, their preferences for colleges and courses, the availability of seats in various medical institutions, and the reservation policy that allocates seats for different categories such as Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
