TS LAWCET Counselling 2024: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) is going to open the counselling registration for Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) 2024  for admission to three-year and five-year LLB programmes, tomorrow 5 August. 

Eligible candidates can participate in the TS LAWCET 2024 counselling by visiting the official website at  lawcetadm.tsche.ac.in.

According to the official counselling schedule, the final date to register for law admissions is August 20. Physical verification of special category certificates will take place from August 7 to 10.
 

TS LAWCET Counselling 2024: Eligibility criteria

The minimum eligibility criteria for the three-year and five-year LLB programmes are as follows:

  • Candidates should be of Indian nationality.
  • Candidates must satisfy the local or non-local status requirement.
 

3-Year LLB

  • Candidates should possess a graduation degree from a recognized university or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the concerned universities, with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (42% for OBC category and 40% for SC/ST). If any candidate has secured less than the required percentage in graduation, they must have achieved the same percentage or more in any post-graduation or B.Ed degree.

  • Candidates who have completed their degree through a single sitting without undergoing a three-year course, whether regular, private, or correspondence, or those who obtained their degree from an open university without having any basic qualification, are not eligible.

5-Year LLB

  • Candidates should have passed the two-year intermediate examination (with a 10+2 pattern) with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (42% for OBC category and 40% for SC/ST) or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the concerned university or the Board of Intermediate Education, TS or AP.

  • Applicants who have obtained their Class 12 or graduation/post-graduation through open universities without having any basic qualification (SSC) are not eligible for admission into LLB courses.
