TNEA Counselling 2024: The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu is going to start the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2024 today, 22 July. Candidates participating in the TNEA Counselling this year will be able to check the complete schedule by visiting the official website at tneaonline.org.
The TNEA counselling process will be conducted online, allowing applicants to choose their preferred colleges and courses. Seat allocation will be determined once the rank list is released. Successful candidates must then visit their allocated institutes and pay the admission fees. The counselling will occur in three online rounds, with candidates participating in the rounds corresponding to their ranking.
Candidates with scores between 178.9 and 142 will participate in the second round of counselling, scheduled from August 10 to August 12. The results for this round are expected by August 23. Subsequently, students with scores ranging from 141.99 to 77 will join the third round, which will take place from August 23 to August 28. Provisional allotment results for this round will be announced on September 7.
The TNEA counselling is organized to admit candidates into government and government-aided engineering colleges, as well as university departments and constituent colleges of Anna University and Annamalai University.
