CUET Examination is going to begin this week on July 15, 2022. UGC chairman has already made it clear that the examination is solely designed to test the knowledge rather than the retention of the student. The mock test availed by the National Testing Agency (NTA) has authenticated this statement. So aspiring students must devise a new strategy to ace the examination.
Here in this article, we will try to provide you with a framework that can help to develop a strategy which can help you in offloading the pressure in the last week before the examination begin.
Remember CUET is NCERT Based
Know that CUET aims to provide every student from all Boards an equal opportunity in getting admission to the premier institute of India. Up until last year, when admissions were conducted on a percentage basis, the state board students felt subjected to bais. Therefore now students have to qualify for CUET for admissions. NCERT-based syllabus has been adopted as the standard for this test. Students are advised to brush up on all the concepts and topics of their NCERT coursework, this will come in handy during the examination.
Acquire knowledge:
The NTA will conduct this examination to test the knowledge of the candidate. So the chances of questions being logical rather than straightforward are extremely high. Understand the fundamental of all the concepts and theories because only a solid understanding of the syllabus will help you answer most of the questions.
Take Mock Test:
CUET UG 2022 is the first of its kind examination. According to NTA Students have created around 60,000 subject combinations. So it is important that all the candidates are familiar with the examination pattern. A clear idea of the examination will help you refrain from panicking during the examination. In the last week try taking as many mock tests released by NTA to familiarize yourself with the examination pattern
Focus on the Domain Subject:
Although all the sections of the examination are important but your score in the domain subject will be the ultimate decider of your rank in the merit list. The domain subject will also be the toughest section of the examination. Therefore in the last week of preparation, it is wise to focus more on the domain subject.
