Aspiring candidates can apply for the NIFT 2021 exam from December 14 to January 21, 2020, without late fees. While the application form with late fees will be available on the official website from January 22 to 24, 2021.

NIFT 2021 - Educational Criteria
Bachelor Programmmes – Design – B.Des.
The candidates wishing to apply for the exam should have completed their Class 12 examination from any recognized Central/ State Board of Secondary Education.
Even with a General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri-Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level/ International Baccalaureate (IB) are also eligible to apply.
Bachelor Programme – Technology
The candidates wishing to apply for the exam should have completed their Class 12 examination from any recognized Central/ State Board of Secondary Education.
Even with a General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri-Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level/ International Baccalaureate (IB) are also eligible to apply.
Moreover, the candidate who has got 3 or 4 years diploma in any branch of engineering from a recognized institute can also apply and appear for the exam.
For Master Programmes :
Age Criteria: There is no age limit for the candidates appearing for the entrance exam of Masters Degree.
Eligibility for Master Programme – Design
The candidates who are interested to appear in the exam should have an undergraduate degree in any discipline from any recognized institute UG Diploma of minimum three years duration from NIFT / NID.
Eligibility for Master Programme – Management
M.F.M (Master of Fashion Management):
The candidates should have a UG degree or diploma of minimum three years duration from NIFT / NID.
Eligibility for Master Programme – Technology
M.F.Tech. (Master of Fashion Technology)
The candidates should have a B.F.Tech. Degree from NIFT or B.E / B.Tech. from any Institute / University recognised by law in India.
NIFT 2021 - How to fill the application form online?
- Candidates will be required to visit the official website of NIFT at nift.ac.in.
- Go through the detailed information brochure such as; important dates, eligibility criteria, application fee, etc.
- Click on the new registration link and generate user id and password
- Now candidates will be required to fill in the detailed application form and upload necessary Submit the application fee and check the application details thoroughly
- Candidates are advised to take print of the confirmation page and keep it safe for further use.
