NEET UG Counselling 2021: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), which is the official body for conducting NEET UG Counselling 2021, has released an official notice in regard to documents required during the course of the counselling process. As per the released notice, MCC has stated that the Migration certificate is not a mandatory document for the candidates to be carried during NEET UG Counselling.

The official notice released by MCC in this regard read, "It is for the information to the candidates and the participating colleges in NEET UG Counselling 2021 that the Migration certificate for NEET UG Counselling reporting is a desirable document, but is not a mandatory one".

The notice further stated, "It is hereby advised to all the participating colleges that in case the candidate is unable to dispense the Migration certificate, the college can admit the candidate on a provisional basis. It must then receive an undertaking from the candidate that he/she will submit the migration certificate within a period of 7 days". MCC then reiterated that the candidate shall not be denied admission for not being able to produce the Migration certificate.

Notably, on February 27, 2022, the MCC had declared the Round 2 results of NEET UG Counselling 2021 on its official website at mcc.nic.in. Candidates who had appeared in the Counselling round and were allotted seats were supposed to download their seat allotment letters and report to the colleges from February 27, 2022 until March 5, 2022.

It is noteworthy that the Mop-up round for NEET UG Counselling 2021 will commence from March 10, 2022 onwards, while the choice filling facility will begin from March 11, 2022.
