MHT CET CAP Counselling 2024: The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has officially opened the application registration window for the MHT CET Centralized Admission Process (CAP) 2024 today, 14 July.
Eligibile candidates who have qualified the MHT CET 2024 examination can take part in the MHT CET CAP counselling process for admissions under the BE, BTech courses into various participating colleges across the state of Maharashtra.
The counselling registration portal for MHT CET CAP 2024 is now active on the official webiste at cetcell.mahacet.org, where candidates are required to provide their information.
The MHT CET counselling process for 2024 involves stages such as registration, fee submission, document authentication, seat allocation based on merit and candidate choices, and final admission.
MHT CET Counselling 2024: Eligibility
- Must be an Indian National.
- Should have passed HSC or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects, or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies.
- Minimum 45% marks in the above subjects (40% for Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section, and Persons with Disability candidates from Maharashtra State).
- Must have appeared in all subjects in MHT-CET 2024 and obtained non-zero scores.
MHT CET CAP 2024: Important events
- 14 July, 2024: Commencement of BTech counselling registration for MHT CET 2024.
- 24 July, 2024: Deadline for completing the counselling registration form for MHT CET 2024.
- 15 - 25 July, 2024: Period for document verification and application confirmation for MHT CET 2024.
- 27 July, 2024: Provisional merit list for MHT CET 2024 to be published.
- 28 - 30 July, 2024: Grievance period against the provisional merit list for MHT CET 2024.
- 2 August, 2024: Release of the final merit list for MHT CET 2024.
