Karnataka DCET 2024: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the deadline to fill options for Diploma CET (DCET) counseling 2024. Now the candidates can fill their options till 15 July 2024. The candidates can also appear for document verification till 14 July 2024. According to the official notice, “As per the interim order in the high court, the candidates who have passed the NTTF will be given the result and considered for seat allotment.”
Also, “Due to the reasons mentioned above and the inclusion of the seats ceded by the Governing Body to the Government in the seat matrix, the date for registration of OPTIONS for the first round of seat allotment has been extended up to 15-07-2024 No.8.00. The schedule after allotment of seats will be published on the authority's website shortly.”
DCET 2024 is a state-level selection entrance examination for students wishing to seek admission to the second-year/third-semester engineering programs under the lateral entry scheme and to first-year architecture diploma programs at institutes across Karnataka for the academic year 2024-2025.
The candidates may note that those who will be able to qualify for the document verification will be allowed to enter their options and participate in first-round seat allotment. However, the candidates who did not appear for document verification can complete the process from today, 13 July till tomorrow, 14 July 14.
