JoSAA Counselling 2024: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority is set to release the JoSAA counselling 2024 final seat allotment results for round 5 seat allocation tomorrow, 17 July. Candidaes must note that the JoSSA counselling is done for admission into the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and for NIT+ system only.

 

Candidates must note that they will be able to download the JoSAA final seat allotment result by visiting the official website josaa.nic.in. Along with the allocation of seats, the opening and closing ranks will also be published.

 

The number of supernumerary seats in various programs will be decided by individual IITs, ensuring that every institute has at least 20% female enrollment in undergraduate programs. Classes for first-year students will begin by July 30, while some IITs have announced a start date till 1 August. Typically, an academic year starts in July and ends in June of the following year.

 

According to the official website, candidates must complete fee payment and document upload within the deadline after seat allocation; failure to upload required documents will result in cancellation of the allotted seat, even if the 'Seat Acceptance Fee' has been paid in advance.
