JEE Main 2022 Result: With the announcement of the JEE Mains Session 1 results yesterday, now the candidate will have to ponder upon their options where their percentile score can get the admissions. Students who are unpleased with their score can also attempt session 2. NTA will consider the best of the two scores for admission to institutes.

99 and Above Percentile
The candidates who have scored a percentile above 99 will have chances of getting admission into the core branches of Top NITs like Trichy (Tiruchirapalli), Warangal, and Jaipur. Kurukshetra, Allahabad, Calicut, Rourkela and IIIT Allahabad.
Between 98 and 99 Percentile
Those candidates who have a JEE main score of between 98 and 99 percentile are likely to get admission into non-core branches of Top 10 NIT while they can get admission into desirable IIIT like Guwahati, Kota, Lucknow etc. In newly established NITs like Bhopal, Surat, Nagpur, Jalandhar, Hamirpur, Durgapur, and Delhi candidates can get admission into core branches.
Between 96 and 98 Percentile
Candidates in the score bracket will get admission into branches other than the core streams in the top 20 NITs, and the remaining NIT like Agartala, Chandigarh, Patna, Raipur, Silchar, Srinagar etc. Along with this, students will likely get new IIIT core branches of Vadodara, Pune, Sonipat, Surat, Nagpur, Bhopal, Trichy (Tiruchirapalli), Raichur, Kanchipuram, Ranchi, Dharwad, Agartala, Kalyani.
Between 94 and 96 Percentile
Candidates who have scored between 94 and 96 Percentile can get admission into the NIT ranking above 25 in branches other than the core branches. Candidates with this score are advised to make another attempt in the JEE main Session 2.
