The scholarship scheme for girls launched for admission to Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Space Engineering, Rocketry, Avionics & Aircraft Engineering.

The eligible student will get the scholarship up to Rs 1.86 lakh per annum (Rs 15,500 per month) for the Post Graduate programme & Rs 1.2 lakh per annum for Under Graduate programme.

Educational qualification:
(i) For the Under Graduate programme, the students need to secure admission in the first year of B.Tech/ BE or equivalent.
(ii) For the Post Graduate (PG) admission, the students need to secure a minimum of 60 percent marks in Bachelor of Engineering (BE/ B.Tech).Selection process:
(i) The selection of students for Post Graduate Course (MTech/ME) scholarship for the first year will be on the basis of merit list prepared via valid GATE score. The candidates without a valid GATE score will not be considered.
(ii) The selection of students for Under Graduate Course (BTech/BE) scholarship will be on the basis of merit list prepared via valid JEE(Main) score. Candidates without valid JEE (Main) score will not be considered.
How to apply:
Interested candidates can apply till September 10 through the website rac.gov.in
Candidates will have to produce all certificates, in original, for verification in the Institute and a certificate has to be forwarded to AR&DB in this regard by the institute where the student belongs.
Conditions of Scholarship:
(i) Students should note that, once scholarship discontinued to a student it will not be granted further, whether she qualifies the eligibility in the later years.
(ii) Students availing the DRDO scholarship will be entitled to avail only one scholarship at a time. The certificate issued by the Grantee Institute should be attached that she is not availing any other scholarship from any other institute/ department/ agency.
