COMEDK Counselling 2024: The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) is going to close the exercise window for option entry and fee payment for round 1 seat allotment result 2024 for BTech programmeswill today, 18 July.
Eligible candidates participating in the COMEDK counselling 2024 and have been allotted seats can still access the option entry and pay admission fee by visiting the official website at comedk.org.
According to the official counseling timetable, candidates who accept or freeze their seats must report to their allotted institutes by tomorrow, July 19, at 12 noon. Students opting to cancel their seats have until tomorrow at 3 pm to do so.
COMEDK UGET counselling for 2024 will consist of three rounds. Eligibility to participate in subsequent rounds (rounds 2 and 3) depends on the choices made and seats allotted in the previous rounds. Candidates must complete document verification after registering for counselling to be eligible.
After the regular rounds, there will be an additional round exclusively for candidates who passed the supplementary exam conducted by the PU Board / 10+2, aimed at filling leftover seats. Below is a detailed description of the round-wise COMEDK counselling process for 2024.
COMEDK Counselling 2024: Options for candidates
- Accept and Freeze: Candidates can accept the seat allotted to them and choose not to participate in further rounds of seat upgrading.
- Accept and Upgrade: Candidates accept the allotted seat but keep the option open to participate in subsequent rounds to upgrade to a better seat.
- Reject and Upgrade: Candidates reject the currently allotted seat and participate in further rounds to try for a better seat.
- Reject and Withdraw: Candidates reject the allotted seat and withdraw from the counselling process entirely.
