AP ICET 2024: The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has opened the web option entry window for the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET) counselling 2024 phase 2 today. The candidates who already registered for the AP ICET phase 2 counselling can enter their web options by visiting the official website i.e. icet-sche.aptonline.in.

The candidates may note that they will require their login credentials such as hall ticket number and date of birth to log in and exercise the AP ICET 2024 web option entry. The choice-filling window will close on 14 September 2024. During this period, candidates can choose their preferred colleges and courses. 

This counselling is conducted for the candidates who wish to be admitted into Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programmes can participate in the second and final phase of web counselling. According to the official notice,  “Mathematics is a mandatory subject at 10+2 Level (Intermediate) to opt for the MCA programme in AP ICET Admissions.”  

The eligibility is decided according to the course opted by the candidate i.e. for MCA, the candidates have passed BCA, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent degree, with at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category candidates). 

OR Passed BSc, BCom, and BA with mathematics at 10+2 level or graduation level (with additional bridge courses as per the norms of the concerned university). Must have obtained at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates).

However, for MBA the candidate must possess any degree of a minimum three-year duration with mathematics as one of the subjects in SSC. Must have obtained at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category candidates).
