The National Testing Agency(NTA) has declared that the Examination for CUET UG 2022 will be conducted from July 15th and will continue till August 10th, 2022. Now that the examination date is clear, Candidates need to ramp up their preparation strategies.

CUET UG 2022: Agriculture Syllabus Overview
If you have chosen agriculture as a subject in the combination, then you should know that the are four units that you need to cover.
UNIT -1
Agrometeorology, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Biochemistry and Microbiology
This unit is designed to check the understanding of the candidate in terms of all the fundamental parameters related to agriculture. You need to prepare yourself about the weather and climate factors related to Agriculture, Furthermore, you also need to grab a basic understanding of Biochemistry, Genetic and plant breeding structure along with Microbiology in its role in agriculture.
UNIT-2
Livestock Production
This unit is curated to test your understanding of Livestock management which includes History, knowledge of animal breeds and breeding process, disease and Medical Caring, Food supplements along with scopes and the Importance of livestock in agriculture and industry.
UNIT 3
Crop Production
This unit is specifically designed to examine the Knowledge of the candidate on history and factor that is related to crop production. The core focus of this unit is soil, irrigation, weed control and crops.
UNIT 4
Horticulture
This unit focuses on the Importance of the Horticulture-Fruits and vegetables and the conditions required to gain greater yield through horticulture practices. The Candidate also needs to prepare for the method and Principles of preservation and packaging.
