A three-month certificate course on Gandhian philosophy to students was inaugurated in Bandi Mutyalamma Zilla Parishad High School in Mutyalapalli at Mogaltur mandal on Friday, official sources said here today.
In his inaugural address, Director of Gandhian Studies Centre Venkateswara Rao said that Gandhian principles are more “practical” and efforts should be made by students to imbibe those principles.

"Students must read and understand the essence of Gandhiji, and Gandhian principles are nothing but a way of life about how to live and how not to live. Simple living and high thinking is the essence of Gandhian philosophy," he said.
