Things You Should Know About SNAP.Symbiosis National Aptitude Test or SNAP is a test mandatory for the candidates who wish to join MBA or other programs in the Symbiosis International University and affiliated institutes. The student must register for SNAP Test and also register for the institutes where he wants to pursue his choice of program by paying separate registration fees. Once shortlisted, the student will have to go through the GE-PIWAT process which is held by each of the institute individually.

Eligibility

The student should be a Graduate from any recognized or statutory University or Institute. A minimum of aggregate 50% marks (45% in case of the candidates from SC/ST category) is required. The programs which require specific subject or specialization will check the eligibility of the student on their own grounds as applicable.

If a candidate has a qualifying degree from any Foreign University, he must get an equivalent certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). All other foreign degrees and qualifications need to be certified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission to any program of SIU. The candidate can contact the Evaluation Division of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) which issues equivalence certificate for foreign degrees/qualifications.

Registration Process

One can register online on the website snaptest.org when the registration is open in the month of November. The student has to upload his latest scanned and colored passport size photograph at the time of Online Registration. The student must fill the application form correctly to avoid the disappointment of cancellation. The test fee is around 1500/- payable by net banking or credit card. The option of cash payment is also there to be referred on the website.

Question paper

The paper is of 120 minutes duration. The SNAP Test is an objective test where students will get 4 options to choose 1 correct answer. Each wrong answer will attract 0.25 negative marking. The questions will be asked form the sections of English (General, Comprehension, verbal ability), Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, General knowledge including current affairs of last 2 years, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning.
