To increase the number of teaching days in schools, provisional admissions to Class XI would be made from April 1 before declaration of Class X exam results, Haryana Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma said on Friday.
On the day of last Class X exam, students would be asked to visit their respective schools the next day where they would be apprised of provisional admission, he said.
They would be provided application forms for Class XI the same day. The school in-charge would collect the filled-up documents and take them to the school chosen by the students for provisional admission so that regular classes could soon be started, he said.
Except for the Board exams, results for all classes would be declared on March 31. After declaration of results, the school in-charge would handover the list of students to school concerned on April 1. All other formalities would be completed from April 1 to 4, Sharma said.
The minister said it has been decided that all students would be provided with Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation or Report Card and Special Teachers have been deputed to take care of admission and education of students with special needs.
The students of Haryana Board are also advised to check their exam results on our dedicated Board page of Haryana.
