The Mangalore University would begin certificate and diploma courses in Yogic sciences at its University College campus in the city from August this year, Vice Chancellor K Byrappa has said.
The duration of the certificate course would be six months while the diploma course would be of one-year duration, he said in a release here.
He said there would no upper age limit to join the courses and all those who had passed the SSLC examination could apply.

The university had been offering a regular post-graduate course, M Sc in Human Consciousness and Yogic Sciences, at its Mangalagangotri campus for the last ten years.
