The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has invited applications for admission to Post Basic Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) programme in Nursing for the academic session 2014-15.
Issuing a statement the university said that "Admission in this programme will be done through an Entrance Examination (OPENNET-IV) to be conducted on August 17, 2014."

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing is a degree programme of three years, duration for in-service diploma holder Nurses. The Programme is approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Eligibility for Admission :
The students are requested to read the notification issued on IGNOU's website to get more information on Eligibility Criteria and other details about admission process.
Important Date :
The duly filled in application form for in prescribed format for Entrance Test must reach, the Registrar (SED), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi -110068, by Registered Post/Speed Post on or before 15/07/2014.
NOTE
There is no age bar for admission to the above Programmes. The University reserves the right to grant/deny admission to any candidates. Provision for online registration for admission to the successful candidates for Post Basic B.Sc Nursing Programme will be made available on the university website (www.ignou.ac.in) after the declaration of the Entrance Test result.
