Delhi University Organizing Pre-Admission Programme for Undergraduate Admissions

Delhi University is going to hold a two-day pre-admission interaction and orientation programme for Undergraduate admissions on April 27 and April 28, 2018 from 10.00 am onwards at the conference centre, North Campus.

The conference is for prospective students and their parents.

The objective of the programme is to familiarize the admission process of online registration and admission in the Undergraduate courses during 2018-19, particularly in the context of some new features added in the online application form this year.

Some of the features are:

1. The applicant can now register for merit-based as well as the entrance-based courses on the same portal through one application.

2. As majority of the students apply from CBSE, the details of an applicant’s marks in XII will be automatically captured by the software from the database provided be the CBSE, once a student enters his/her roll number and other details.

3. Five-year integrated course in Journalism has been added as a new course to the portal.

4. For admission to sports category, applicants can now upload three best certificates instead of only one. The three certificates have to be uploaded as three separate documents.
