Action on more than 400 UP Colleges, Read this Before Taking Admission in BTech, BCA and MCA

The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has issued an order to shut down the University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), operated at Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University (CSJMU), Kanpur, after failing to meet the standards.

The institute has filed an appeal against this order. With the shutting down of the institute, the students studying here will have to shift from one place to another. This will affect around 700 students. AICTE has taken major action on more than 400 colleges in the state, of which 70 to 100 colleges are such that the session has been reduced to zero.

This means that these colleges will not be able to get admission in the 2019-20 sessions. In most colleges, seats have been reduced from 10 to 50%. Apart from this, there are about 50 such colleges which have been ordered to end the course.

UIEET has not been able to complete the infrastructure, lab, number of teachers, teachers' grade etc. Courses like BTech, BCA and MCA are being taught. BTech department has been ordered to shut down. Apart from this, the council has also ordered the reduction of 50% in the pharmacy and 10% seats in the MCA.

Against this order, the University Administration filed an appeal in the Council. The university administration hopes that there appeal will be accepted and they will be released from the punishment. Earlier, the council had ordered the reduction of 33% of the Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU).

Over 25 thousand seats have been filled
Upon completion of the standard, the AICTE has completed the process of deduction of more than 25 thousand engineering, diploma and pharmacy seats. Now the council has tried to shut down those rules which are operating under fake colleges.

In view of this, the UIEET Administration has been ordered to withdraw the affiliation and reduce seats in the pharmacy, MCA. Against this order, he has now got an opportunity to appeal.
