Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the results for Combined Defence Services Examination (II) 2013.
The applicants who had applied for Officers Training Academy Chennai for Short Service Commission training can view their results now.
Issuing a notification the Commission said that "A total of 293 candidates (230 Male and 60 Female) have qualified in the written test conducted by UPSC and interview held by Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence."
The candidates have been selected provisionally and will receive confirmation after clearing the medical examination, the commission said.
The selected candidates will undergo training at the Officers Training Academy, Chennai. After the completion of training the candidates will be commissioned in their respective departments.

The Combined Defence Services Examination (II) 2013 was conducted on September 8, 2013 by UPSC. The examination for admission to Officers' Training Academy consisted of two papers: English and General Knowledge for 100 marks each.
