UPPSC PCS Result 2023:
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) will announce the result of the UP PCS Prelims 2023 exam soon. Only the candidates who are successful in the preliminary examination will be issued roll numbers for the main examination.
Candidates who appeared for the UP PCS preliminary examination will be able to check their UP PCS Prelims Result 2023 through the commission's website, uppsc.up.nic.in.

The UPPSC PCS Prelims 2023 Exam took place on May 14, 2023, with approximately 3.4 lakh candidates appearing for the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Exam. On May 17, the commission released the provisional answer key for the exam.
UPPSC PCS Prelims Exam at a Glance
According to officials, the preliminary examination for the recruitment of 173 PCS posts was conducted in two shifts across 1,241 centres in 51 districts of the state. A total of 565,459 candidates had applied for the exam, out of which only 341,392 candidates, accounting for 60.37 percent, appeared for the exam.
The exam duration was two hours, with the first session held from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and the second session from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The recruitment exam took place at various exam centres in Uttar Pradesh.
UPPSC PCS 2023 Vacancy Details
The exam is being conducted for a total of 173 vacancies for various posts, including Sub Registrar, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Assistant Controller Legal Measurement (Grade 11), Technical Assistant (Geology), Law Officer, Technical Assistant (Geophysics), Tax Assessment Officer, g.Dy. Superintendent of Police, Superintendent of Jail, District Commandant Home Guards, Excise Inspector, and Deputy Jailor. However, the number of vacancies may increase or decrease depending on circumstances or requirements.
UPPSC PCS Main Exam Proposed on 23 September
In the UPPSC calendar, the main examination for PCS-2023 is scheduled to take place on September 23, 2023. Only candidates who have successfully cleared the preliminary examination will be eligible to appear for the main examination.
