The result for the UPPSC PCS Main Exam 2018 is expected to be declared shortly by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC).
The examination for the UPPSC PCS 2018 was conducted from June 17, 2019, to June 21, 2019.
The result will be uploaded on the official website of UPPSC i.e. uppsc.up.nic.in.
The candidates who appeared for the exam can visit the official website and check the result once released.
The result is expected by the next month as per the media source.
The commission is now expected to release the notification for applications of UPPSC PCS 2019 examination. The preliminary examination for PCS 2019 is scheduled for October 20, 2019, as per the exam calendar released by UPPSC.
As per the calendar which was released in May, the preliminary examination for UPPSC PCS Exam 2019 would be conducted along with the ACF and RFO examination (Assistant Conservator of Forest or Range Forest). The preliminary examinations for PCS and ACF/RFO have been scheduled for October 20, 2019. The UPPSC ACF/RFO Main examinations are scheduled to be conducted from November 13 onwards.
About UPPSC PCS Exam
UPPSC PCS Examination is conducted for the recruitment of upper subordinate services in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The recruitment examination is required for appointment as Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Block Development Officer, Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Tax), District Commandant Homeguards, Treasury Officer/Accounts Officer (Treasury), Cane Inspector and Assistant Sugar Commissioner, Superintendent Jail, Manager Credit (Small Industries), Manager Marketing and Economic Survey (Small Industries), Executive Officer Grade-I/Assistant Nagar Ayukta, District Basic Education Officer/Associate DIOS & Other equivalent Administrative Posts, Assistant Director Industries (Marketing) etc. The pay scale is Rs. 9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs 4600/- (except Naib Tehsildar whose grade pay is Rs. 4200/-) to Rs. 15600-39100/- Grade Pay Rs. 5400.
