And as a consequence, the evaluation of answerscripts also started early and will complete within 40-45 days of the last exam date.

According to the media reports, the Board took necessary steps to ensure quick publication of the UP Board result 2018. To introduce transparency in the system, the Board for the first time published the name of the examination centers online including 34 new schools selected.
Timely Publication Despite Increased Number of Students
In any case, the steps taken by the UP Board to publish results early seems a laudable one. The reason is that there were nearly 67 lakh plus students appearing in the examination. For class 10 there were
Around 37,12,508 students appeared for UP Board Class X Exam 2018. On the other hand, 30,17,032 students appeared for pus II exam 2018.
But later due to heavy crackdown, 10 lakh students skipped the UP Board Exam 2018.
Last Year’s UP Board Result Stories
During the year 2017, the UP Board results were delayed by nearly 20 days. The results for both class 10 and 12 came up only as late as June 9. Formal declaration was to be done from the Allahabad Head Office of the Board that took nearly one month more.
This year the UP Board seems determined to complete the entire process within the third week of April.
