UP Board Exam 2022: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has successfully conducted the UP Board exam 2022 for students of Class 10 and 12. The state board exams for Class 10 students were held from March 24 until April 12, while for those of Class 12 commenced on March 24 to continue till April 13, 2022. The exams were conducted in the pen-paper mode across the state.
27,81,654 students had registered for the UP board Class 10 exams, while the count stood at 24,11,035 for Class 12 students. This implies that a total of 52, 92, 689 students were supposed to appear in the exam. However, a large number of students have skipped their respective exams in the current year and only 47, 75, 749 students have turned up for the exams.
It is noteworthy that a similar trend of skipping exams has been witnessed for a few years during the course of UP state boards.
UP Board Exam 2022: What's next?
The Uttar Pradesh Board is indulged in preparations for the evaluation of the answer sheets of the students. However, the board has not issued any official date for the commencement of evaluation of answer sheets, but the process is expected to begin this month.
Once the answer sheets are evaluated, the board will begin with the arrangements for releasing the result and will announce the results, after all the preparations are ensured.

Notably, the UP board exams had to be cancelled in 2021, owing to the Covid-19 pandemic. The board had conceived the 50:50 formula for evaluation of Class 10 students, while the 50:40:10 formula was implemented for Class 12 students.
The overall pass percentage for Class 12 students had clocked a percentage of 97.88 in 2021, while the same for Class 10 was recorded as 99.53%.
